Your group has to explore the old palace grounds and learn a bit of history. There are 5 items to find and at each one you should record, and be able to provide, the evidence of you having been there at your debrief for the day. Photographs should be interesting and imaginitive (but respectful as this is a royal historic monument). The list below is the order you will find things if you begin from the University building. If you are starting at the beach then start at No. 5 and work in reverse order.
01
Khao Noi viewpoint. Take an interesting group picture here as evidence
02
Asdang Temple. Chose the 4 Buddha teaching points you think are the most important on the list. 1 for each person in the group.
Evidence: Record your choices as a voice clip
03
The Stone Bell. It's made of stone. It looks like a frog. It rings like a bell. Evidence: Make it ring and record the sound.
04
The foundations of Phra Chudadhuj Ratchathan. Evidence: describe the geometric shape repeated in the spider web pattern at the SW end of the foundations. Extra point: In 1893 after a brief war, a foreign country occupied Koh Sichang and King Rama V ordered the palace dismantled and never stayed on the island again. Which country?
05
The Love Bridge. A symbol of the love between King Chulalongkorn and the People of Koh Sichang. Evidence: Take an interesting group photo at the end of the pier.
